She is history's first female serial killer. Her nickname: "countess of blood". Estimated victims up to 2000. Hungary 1604. When the young husband of Elizabeth Bathory suddenly dies. She gets left behind all alone. During a party the newly widow meets the much younger Istvan with which she has an affair. But then Istvan's dad sends him to an foreign country to get married. Again, Elizabeth stays behind, alone. this time not knowing why her lover went away all of the sudden. She convinces herself that he left her because of her age. In an attempt to get her youth back, Elizabeth let her servant kidnap young virgins for their blood. First the tart with the peasant daughters but later she moves of to aristocratic girls, and then the authorities are making a case of it.
