Two girls who study at a collage for vampires are connected in a special way. They are not only best friends one Rose is trained to be Lissa's protector. Not without reason, Lissa is a princess and next in line of the throne of the Moroi, the peaceful, mortal vampires. Rose works hard for it and she get extra lessons from the handsome Demitri, for who she has feelings for.  She needs every lesson because the Strigoi, the immortal evil vampires, will do everything to make Lissa's life as hard as possible. As if school life in't hard enough...
